If it was only 5 frames short, only 5 frames will be overwritten ( and so the sacrificed sequence will only need to have 5 of its frames reloaded to be complete again.) (I can see where this would be the correct way to prioritize and I can see how this could be backwards.)Īnd it only overwrites the frames that it needs in order to completely load the sequence that you are requesting. And the ones that you used the longest ago is the first to get overwritten. Meaning the last sequence you used is the least likely to get overwritten.
